More videotapes have been used in court by Clayton Patterson than by anyone else in the history of America! ...which also explains why Clayton Patterson became one of THE public enemies of the U.S.A. in 1988 at the latest! This inspired three young filmmakers - Ben Solomon, Daniel Levin and Jenner Furst - to make a documentary based on the life of Clayton Patterson.
"CAPTURED" is about the last of the wild days of the Lower East Side of Manhattan and presents the New York Underground with police riots, hardcore shows, drag queens, drugs and much more...; Unique footage that will probably only be seen again in this film!

The outlaw among the artists
KRONENZEITUNG, Vienna | November 2, 2011

TRANSLATION: Outlaw among the artists.
CLAYTON PATTERSON. Granted, the man doesn't exactly look like your typical artist, but Clayton Patterson is known all over the world and enjoys cult status. Born in Calgary in 1948, the photographer uses his work to fight against the injustice of forms of government and owns one of the largest archives of photographic and film material at his Outlaw Art Museum in New York. Now, in collaboration with the Hells Angels, the eccentric has premiered his documentary Captured in Vienna. Rating: valuable
