KEITH PATCHEL is the Co-Creator of the MarsBand at the Hayden Planetarium (American Museum of Natural History). In 2016 he composed an opera entitled The Plain of Jars for which he received the 2017 Acker Award for Composer/Producer of the Year (which was performed again in July 2017 at NYU's Black Box Theatre as part of the IMPACT Festival). He is also the Composer in Residence at the MusEdLab (an NYU music education software development initiative).
