PLOT: Clayton Patterson may not be a native New Yorker, but he embodies the New York spirit more than a lot of people who were born here. There’s something to be said about a guy who cares deeply about freedom of expression, and who has the humility to complement his talent. As a product of the golden years in New York City, when misfits ran the streets, it’s understandable that a guy like Patterson would feel nostalgic for the good ol’ days. But in spite of his longing for a more creative hometown, Patterson is still out there capturing history as it unfolds right before us. Patterson is a purist who understands what respect is about.
